About Me
Barry Tuddenham, Avoca Beach Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic’s principal physiotherapist, is commited to providing the highest possible standard of physiotherapy care to his clients.
After completing his primary and secondary education at Gosford Primary and High schools, Barry enrolled in the physiotherapy undergraduate course at Sydney’s Cumberland College of Health Sciences. Following his graduating in 1986 he completed his intern year at Sydney’s St Vincent Hospital, then after a period of travel, returned to the Central Coast to pursue his career in private practice.
Barry has since provided over 20 continuous years of physiotherapy services to residents and visitors to the Central Coast, initially at the Gosford Physiotherapy Centre, then in Avoca Beach.
During this time he has developed extensive skills & knowledge in the areas of
Sports Injury Prevention, Treatment and Management
Orthopeadic Rehabilitation
Manual Therapy (incorporating joint mobilisation/manipulation and massage techniques)
Exercise Prescription
Dry Needling
Occupational Rehabilitation including pre-employment screening
Men’s Health
Barry has been a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association since 1987 and was awarded a certificate in recognition of services to the profession in 2000.
Outside of working Barry spend his time with his family, enjoys surfing, swimming, bike riding and plays an active role in Surf Life Saving.
